Three generations of silversmiths in the Pir Panjal workshop

The workshop · Pir Panjal · Est. 1989

—  01 / Origin

“My grandfather said the mountain teaches patience. Silver taught us the rest.”

We are from the Panjal ridge. Three generations, one workshop, no employees. My grandfather shaped silver by the light of oil lanterns. My father by halogen. I by LED — but the hands are the same, and the fire hasn’t changed.

Every piece carries the mountain in its grain. Not because we try — because we can’t help it. When you work silver for thirty-five years in the same stone room, the ridge gets into everything.

How it happens

No machines. No moulds.
The only thing that repeats is the care.

01

The source

Pure silver, sourced from where it comes from. We don't refine it — we respect it. Hold a Dhaar piece and you'll feel the difference. You will too.

02

The fire

Heated, not melted down. Silver remembers its shape. We remind it of a better one — with fire, patience, and seventy years of hands that know when to stop.

03

The mark

Hand-stamped. Chiselled. Each mark slightly imperfect — that's not a defect, that's proof. Machines can't replicate the tremor of a hand that cares.

04

Yours

Packed by hand. Shipped with a note — sometimes a pressed pine needle from the ridge. Old habit. We've done it this way since my grandfather's first order.

The process hasn’t changed since 1989

Only the hands get better

The air is thinner here. The fire burns differently. Silver cools at its own pace — and so do we.
